For Cars
Once you turn right onto the McLean campus, take your second right near the green sign that says “MRI/Imaging Center”. Follow the one-way road around until you come to a stop sign. At the stop sign you can see our red brick building and you will take a slight right and then go across the road and down a little hill to the parking lot on your left and you may park in any available spot. Walk up the driveway to the red brick building with the glass doors. When you arrive, please check in at the front desk and I will come meet you in the lobby. Alternatively, you can call the study staff members from the phone in the entrance (x2912).
For Rideshares (e.g. Uber, Lyft)
Rideshare mapping is NOT always 100% accurate when trying to find the Imaging Center’s location. In regular map apps, the roads on campus are not named the same (Olmstead Dr = Central Ave, West Rd = Main Rd). Make sure pin is dropped in the right place on the map to minimize confusion à pin should be at the entrance of the Imaging Center:
Public Transit
Step 1
1) Take the Red Line to Harvard Square.
2) Take the 73 bus (Mt. Auburn Waverly) from Harvard Square to the terminal stop at Waverly Square in Belmont, MA–this is the last stop on this bus line.
3) Alternatively, you may also take the commuter rail (purple line) to the Waverly Square stop.
Step 2
1) You can take the Mclean Hospital shuttle (white van—no marking) to the Administrative Building at McLean. Once you arrive at Waverly Square, call me and I will request
a shuttle for you. Ask the driver to point you in the direction of the NeuroImaging Center (NIC).
2) If you would like to walk, the trip is under 1/2 a mile. From Waverly Square, cross Trapelo Road towards Shaws Supermarket. Continue away from Boston down Trapelo Road until you get to a BP gas station. Across from the gas station there is an iron fence and a Mclean Hospital sign. Walk up the path and the Imagining Center is a red brick building up on your right.
